The smartphone arrives with Android 15 Go Edition, an IP64-rated design and a 90Hz display, bringing features that are becoming increasingly common in the entry-level segment.
With intense competition from brands like Redmi, Poco, Infinix and itel, Lava is continuing to strengthen its position in the budget smartphone market by offering a combination of after-sales support and practical hardware. The company has also confirmed that buyers of the Smart 4 Plus will receive its doorstep service, a feature that remains one of Lava’s biggest advantages over many competitors in this price range.

The Lava Smart 4 Plus has been launched in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration priced at Rs 9,999. Customers can choose between two colour options—Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver. The smartphone will be available through offline retail stores across India rather than being limited to online flash sales.
Lava has also promised two years of security updates, giving the device a longer software support cycle than many budget smartphones in the same category.
