During Computex, the company officially introduced the Aspire Go 15, a new entry-level laptop designed for students, casual users, and anyone looking for an affordable everyday machine without spending premium money.
The biggest talking point is the inclusion of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon C chip. Unlike the more powerful Snapdragon X-series processors found in premium AI-focused laptops, the Snapdragon C is aimed at basic computing tasks such as web browsing, video streaming, document editing, online classes, and day-to-day productivity. Acer appears to be positioning the Aspire Go 15 as a practical option rather than a performance powerhouse.
Budget laptops have become increasingly important in recent years as buyers look for devices that can handle everyday workloads without crossing into expensive territory. With major manufacturers chasing this growing market, Acer is hoping the Aspire Go 15 can attract users who simply need a reliable laptop for work, study, and entertainment.
Aspire Go 15 Focuses on Everyday Computing

Alongside the Aspire Go 15, Acer introduced the more premium Swift Spin 14 AI. Unlike its budget-focused sibling, this model targets users looking for higher-end performance and the latest AI features.
The convertible laptop can reportedly be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite or Snapdragon X Plus processors, along with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It also joins the growing lineup of Copilot+ PCs, Microsoft’s category of AI-powered Windows computers.
The announcement comes as laptop makers continue investing heavily in artificial intelligence features, despite mixed consumer interest so far. Manufacturers including Acer, Lenovo, HP, Dell, and Asus have all expanded their AI-focused product lines over the past year, hoping the technology eventually becomes a key selling point for buyers.
For now, however, the Aspire Go 15 may attract more immediate attention. As laptop prices continue to climb across many categories, affordable devices remain one of the strongest segments of the market.
